Our Philosophy

Come to the loft and explore awakening awareness of our true nature. 

At the heart of everything we do at the yoga studio is the understanding that we are deeply connected to the Earth and to all beings everywhere. This connection is woven through the wisdom of the ancestors and the essence of the elements—earth, air, water, fire, and space—that sustain and guide us. Drawing inspiration from the *Bhagavad Gita* and other sacred and wise texts across traditions, we embrace the truth of this interconnectedness. Much like St. Francis, who saw all living beings as family, we honour this unity as the foundation of our practice, inviting each person to rediscover their place within the great web of life.

 

At the Loft, we believe that being part of nature comes with a natural responsibility to care for it. Inspired by the idea that divinity is found in the world around us, we aim to combine this understanding with what we call sacred activism—taking small but meaningful actions to enjoy and protect the beauty of the natural world, creating a positive impact for today and tomorrow.
