Meet Your Hosts

Maria Garvey

With a background in Transformational Leadership, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Spiritual Accompaniment, Purpose Guiding and Trauma Informed Contemplative Healing Practices, over many years Maria has been accompanying individuals, groups and communities through transformational processes that reawaken people to their deepest purpose giving them access to new ways of being and fresh openings for action in their lives.

She’s passionate about bringing the gifts in the margins to the centre and transforming stressful and bewildering transitions into openings for new life. Maria is particularly committed to being a junior partner with nature in giving people access to the space and healing they need to flourish and shine. In more recent years she’s been leading Women’s Sharing Circles and Natural Wellbeing retreats for individuals and groups in the foothills of the Mourne mountains in Rostrevor Co. Down.

Annabel Sharma

Hello, my name is Annabel Carberry Sharma and I love yoga. I am very grateful to the practise of yoga- my Mum introduced it to me when I was little and then I practised with my Aunts in India. Despite being introduced to yoga at a young age, I have only recently qualified as a yoga teacher with a 345 hour certificate from the Camatkara School, which was led by Christine Stewart and Marella Fyffe.

I love the asana practise of yoga because of its transcendent power to move emotional energetic states to higher lighted states of freedom and joy.

I enjoy teaching yoga because I love holding the sacred space between  the magical energetic transformation of participants of when they walk into the class and when they walk out of the class.

Marella Fyffe

Introducing Marella, a yoga practitioner with over two decades of dedicated experience. With a 500-hour level teaching certification, she imparts a wealth of knowledge and a nurturing presence to her instruction, fostering inspiration and grounding in equal measure.

Marella’s devotion extends beyond traditional yoga, encompassing somatic movement, restorative yoga, and the transformative arts of yoga nidra and deep meditation. Through her invigorating yoga/meditation retreats, she crafts a space where participants can explore these modalities with both expertise and compassion.

Regardless of your level of experience, Marella is committed to accompanying you on a voyage of self-exploration and evolution within the rich tapestry of yoga. From novices to seasoned practitioners, her mission is to facilitate growth and understanding, fostering a deeper connection to oneself and the practice of yoga.

Embark on a Journey of self-discovery: Unlock your potential and embrace positive transformation whilst laying the foundations of a path towards a world where all beings thrive, today and tomorrow.

The Journey by Marella

These days, it feels like my inner compass is pointing me towards a clearer understanding of my purpose, merging personal intuition with a commitment to making a difference, which I’m calling sacred activism.

It’s the realisation that true transformation arises from my self-awareness blended with compassionate action in service to others.

Inspired by this, I am embarking on a series of retreats, inviting you to join me on a journey of self-discovery and collective awakening.

We strive to care not only for ourselves but also for the earth using our love, wisdom, and courage to make the world a better place for everyone, recognising that our well-being is intertwined with the well-being of nature.
